Mini Austin - Vroom Vroom Edition

This is a hard surfacing team project of visualising a Mini Austin car model.

As a cinematographer, I first created all car components, namely headlamps, lights and indicators, wipers, door handles and hinges, fuel cap, sets, number plates, logos, taillights, and bumpers in Maya. Then I did the UV unwrap for all the created components.

I did the scene optimisation for our group, including putting in and updating the model of team members, being aware of poly count and file size, naming all primitives and re-laying out the UV for texturing.

After that, I brought the car model into Houdini for lighting and rendering, setting up staging, 3-point lighting and camera shots. After rendering, I bought the rendered images into Nuke and Photoshop for further compositing.
